Have you ever wondered how a major league infielder is able to player 162 games and not have their arm fall off. Besides a major arm care routine it is actually simple. They do the exact same way the guys on the internet throw 111 MPH. They Cheat.
If you want to throw hard it actually has nothing to do with your arm it has to do with your feet. In the videos of 111 mph they are all doing one thing. Moving as fast as they can before the throw. The drill is called Run and Guns and is a staple exercise in a weighted ball routine.
Infielders apply the same principal but they simply shuffle there feet really fast. The faster your feet go the harder you throw. This way they can still throw the runner out without using very much effort. Shuffle Shuffle Throw.
