INTENT!!!! INTENT!!!! You need more INTENT!!! I yelled at a kid. Then to bomb hit. "I am! I don't understand what you want." Boom. I feel for my own cardinal sin. I'll be honest we are guilty of it sometimes. Preaching with out fully understanding. Using cues heard from other people without knowing their intended purpose. Doing simply because the other guy did it and it sounds good. Then I realized in that moment, everyone has Intent with everything they do. Every ball player intends on making the MLB. Every coach, team, and organization intends on to win the World Series. Every travel ball program intends on developing its players to the fullest and getting them every trophy and scholarship made available. Heck ever time I play the lottery I intend on winning. Don't you? But out of all of those people about how many commit to what they are doing. To release the restraints and just let it fly. To truly give it your all and hold back nothing. Not many do or realize intent is not commitment and not this kid I was yelling at. So I changed instead of yelling INTENT i yelled COMMIT and guess what? He hit the hardest ball in his life. Know the Why
